I've been going to Pilates classes at the Moving Arts studio in Pinelands, for the last 4 months. Such fun and starting to find those 'inner connections' lol...

The more of life i experience, the less i can judge... yet how much i still do...oh how much still lies ahead. And can someone please tell me how to get my pictures up straight!!

Sarah

We had an extended family get together today which was special. Sarah and i rocked up wearing exactly the same thing, aunty Cath thought she was seeing double for a while- couldn't understand why Sarah's hairstyle kept changing!

Chess lessons

It has started...

The finished product

Sarah's blanket. Sarah is having a baby soon and her sister in law had the crazy idea of crocheting a blanket out of flowers for her...600 flowers were needed, so her friends and family all took up their crochet hooks and learned how. The result is quite incredible, we've created an heirloom! 625 flowers made with love.

Good morning ellibody!

Des and Lud went to a wedding this weekend, we looked after Kaylin. Arden loved having his friend here and Ernst and I got to see what 3 kids is like. Hectic, but we survived.

Easter weekend

Kaylin and Arden walked to the Spar with Ernst to get rid of some energy, splash in the puddles and buy more hot cross buns, we've eaten a total of 30 already, between us, and the Easter weekend isn't even over!

Visit to Kleinplasie

We've just had a lovely 4 days at Kleinplasie, was the first time driving on a dirt road since our accident - family freak out moment, but we got there safe and had great time.

Totally yummy

Bowl of fresh figs covered in homemade icecream, peacan nuts from the garden, pomegranate seeds and thorn tree honey from my mom's beehives.

Emptying the reservoir

Arden on his 'boat' while my mom and i cleaned out the reservoir that was emptied for irrigation.

Sitting on Granny's stoep

Stickin' little blue flowers all over her hair...

Feeding the chickens

We took Arden to see the neighbour's chickens, and 2 cows- who together produce all the dairy products for the town!

Granny's little farmer

Arden is such a boy- he is fascinated by anything with wheels. He was delighted to sit on the neighbor's tractor- and she's said that next time we visit it will hopefully be working and he can go for a real ride! My mom is determined to have one farmer among her offspring... maybe it will be Arden?!
