Montague for the weekend
We went away with some good friends to a farm called Rietvlei, just outside Montague, for the weekend. We had such fun- swimming, braai-ing, keeping tabs on the 7 kids, chatting and just relaxing. We've agreed to try and make this an annual gettaway.
Tractor ride
Arden is such a boy- loves everything with wheels! The tractor ride around the farm was quite a highlight for him.
Our miracle 22nd January
We had a car accident driving back from Lambertsbay on a dirt road - lost control of the car and rolled 3 times. The car is a write off, but amazingly we are all fine- including our 3 month old Nina. I picked up this heart shaped rock at the campsite, an hour before our accident. It has become a special reminder of God's love and grace over us. He knew what we were about to go through, but that He would be with us through the whole ordeal, loving us and providing for us each step of the way. I'm still processing the accident, but just feel so grateful that we are all ok and that our time is not yet.

Toilet time
Arden is now out of nappies in the day! The ritual of going to the toilet is quite a time consuming experience and includes much singing, talking to himself and directing the affairs of the house from his seat of authority!
